A friendly Aussie “g’day” to anyone who stumbles across this blog here. There’s no special reason for it, yet. I own this domain name and thought it was a shame to see it skulking around the web with error messages on it, and I still need plenty of practice in setting up blogs and FTPing and using HostGator and CPanel and all that technical stuff that I seem to be getting slower and slower at learning, so I thought this was a good way to do it.
And of course, the whole idea really came to me in the shower. I was thinking some thought this morning - and I’m almost ashamed to admit that now I don’t even know what it was - and I thought to myself - “If I had a personal blog, just about my own stuff that’s not related to writing or teaching work - I could blog about that”. Seriously, I have no idea anymore what the thought was, but I promise to blog about it when it comes back to me.
